Here we have the Poll & Survey creator, it engages like never before! With these you can create a poll from scratch by yourself or browse the pre-made templates. Let’s get to know your employees more and see how they’re feeling and thinking.

Start by clicking “Engage” on the tab menu where you will find “Polls & Surveys”.

In the top right corner there will be a blue button to click called “Create New Poll/Survey”

There will be two choices for you to choose “Browse all available Templates” or “Create a new poll from Scratch”

Let's start from scratch!

Create from Scratch:

First, the dashboard will bring you to the sections of selecting “Members by Filter”, “Specific Members” (search by name), and “Save for future use”. The Member filters can be sent to specific groups that are confirmed, pending, or even inactive members. The dashboard also displays segments, which can be sent by specific tags depending on the role of the individual.

Second, you will see the “Poll Title” above the blue button “Add a new Question”. This will be where you create the titles for the questions and the types of them as well.

You have two choices of boxes to check for your poll: “Set an Expiration Date for Poll”. This option limits the time that the poll is open. The second option is “Should answers be collected anonymously?” This will allow you to select if you can view who answers each survey.

Third, click “+ add new question” and choose from the many types of options you will see to create for your employees will be: Multiple Choice, Open Question, Custom Content, Scale Rating, and Single Word Response.

  • If you want to add a picture or custom content to a question the blue button “More Options” in the title of the question will allow you to do so to make your questions look more exciting.
  • You may change the order of the questions using icon in the top left of each question. This will allow you to “Drag and Drop” so you can change the order.
  • At the bottom of each question you will see a checkbox that reads “Allow users to skip this question”. This will allow the user to skip the question. If you do not want to do this, leaving it blank will make it required.

Lastly, you want to thank your users for taking the survey, as well as reward them for their time, 

by using the “Thank you message” and “Virtual Coins” box.

  • Below the “Thank you message” box, you will find the “Virtual Coins” box. This is where you can choose how much you want to reward your users.
  • You can share it with all the other Admins at Eloops or only with the admins in your organization. When checking the box “Share this Poll as a template”, this will share with only within your organization.
  • Finally, you have the choice of when you want to schedule the delivery. By checking the box “I do not want to send or schedule” you may manually release the delivery.

Browsing all available Templates

First, Start by clicking “Engage” on the tab menu. This is where you will find “Polls & Surveys”.

In the top right corner there will be a blue button to click called “Create New Poll/Survey”.

There will be two choices for you to choose “Browse all available Templates” or “Create a new poll from Scratch”

Secondly, do you want to see a preview? By clicking into the “Browse all available templates”, you will find many options to use.

  • The drop down bar “Default Sorting” allows you to choose the type of template you would like to preview based off Title or even usage.
  • The “Type to Search” bar will allow you to search for a certain type of template you are looking to use.

Lastly, when you have decided which template you would like to use, you can select the green button “Use This” to use the template and edit it. You can also click the blue button named “Preview” to see how the template looks.
